How can i get an emergency loan with a small income and bad credit?

I'm a single mom on a limited income, I have had a death in my family and need an emergency loan to pay for the funeral. I've tried several loan companies (american general, citi bank ect) and they all say I need a co-signer who's a mother, father, sister or brother and I have no surviving family to co-sign for me. I need 5,500 dollars by wednesday or we wont be able to burry my mother (the state will cremate her but she was STRONGLY against cremation and I don't want to do that). Can anyone give me any advice on what to do or where to go? I'm at wits end and really need help! Thanks!
