How do I deal with crazy, cat-hoarder relations?

Hi...first thing I have to say is..CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming wedding.Now,as for what 'Jen' and 'Arian' has told you? These 2 have nothing but rude and mean comments and answers(if you want to call it that) to offer.You do NOT burn down someones house,nor do you dare say such mean things to people who have this kind of mental disorder.Very cruel! Listen...These 2 people(your future in laws) were like this long before you ever came into their lives,and why should anything change now? These people(hoarders) have serious mental health issues..cat hoarding or any other kind of hoarding IS a serious mental illness.And to be honest with you? It would NOT matter if you were to hire a best cat sitter on the face of the earth to cat-sit so your in-laws could attend your wedding.It's because these people have such a close mental/physical attachment to these animals,and they have such FEAR that something will happen to their cats while they are gone(at the wedding).This cat hoarding and not attending dear? It nas NOTHING to do with you...nothing at all,and their not trying to be disrespectful by any means.And they not trying to hurt you or their son by not attending the BIGGEST day of his life..YOUR life too.I know this hurts you....a lot.But if you could stop..and think for just a minute..These people have a mental illness...and these cats are all they have left in this world(that IS how they feel),and we know this isn't the truth,right? These people have people who love them dearly...and want to change them and their lifestyle,and get RID of these stinking CATS.But it's not going to happen anytime soon..I don't see this happening anytime soon anyways.I'm just trying to explain to you how these people THINK and how these people FEEL about their animals..their cats are like their own children,even moreso...Because their cats can't leave them..except when they die..but they have more cats to take the place of the others who die.Understand? Thats why they have so many...I hope I've at least explained it so you might have some insight to this siutatuion..and I'm NOT trying to make ANY excuses for anyone! I'm ONLY stating the facts....I'm so sorry this is happening to you and to your fiancee....you should have the people that you want at your wedding..It's the biggest and best day of your lives..and I honestly feel bad for you.I wish you all the very best..both of you,and I hope that I've at least explained the sitaution well enough to where you might understand some of what these people are going through themselves..They need help...true enough.But you worry about YOU for now and you make sure that your BIG day goes off without a hitch..whether these people(his parents) are there or not.Try to make the best of a bad situation,ok?
