It saddens me that I won't live to see the Future, does it sadden you?

I'm relieved that I won't live to see the future. When there's medicine for everything, not everyone will be getting it. If poverty ends it will be because everyone poor has been shipped off to those prison colonies on Mars and the Moon. And why on earth would you want to live to see the day when technology takes over? FLying cars, robots, huge buildings, not a tree left in sight. No doubt some brilliant scientists will come up with technology to make plants unnecessary for humans to live. Animals won't exist anymore either, because there will probably be technology that makes eating meat unnecessary. No, I don't want to live to see that future.
