Why do you think Affirmative Action is the right thing to do in 2009?

It should have never been started in the first place. You just don't give someone preferential treatment because of their race or gender, etc. Whomever is the more qualified should reap the reward. Affirmative Action is NOT NOW nor EVER BEEN the right thing to do.
